Revolutionary leader remembered

Parirakshana Samithi expressed condolence over the death of noted writer and
people’s war leader K. G. Satyamurthy alias Sivasagar. The district president
of Samithi, Mr N. Nagendram recalled that Satyamurthy participated in the
Dalit’s land agitation at Timmasamudram of Prakasam district in year 17 January 1991 along with
Kathi Padma Rao and others. He further recalled that Satyamurthy stayed for one
month at Kandukur for protest seeking justice in the murder of Dalit activist
G. Vijayasaradhi. He eulogized services of Satyamurthy who was one of founder
of People’s war and further praised about his writings as revolutionary writer.
A team from Samithi is going to join last rites of Sivasagar on Wednesday at Vijayawada.
The AP Dalita Mahasabha
conducted a remembrance meeting and paid tributes to the late leader. They recalled
association of Satyamurthy with Prakasam district and expressed condolence over
the death of revolutionary writer.
