He came to Pamuru to participate in the 13th CPI Prakasam three-day meetings, and addressing reporters, mentioned violation of norms by liquor syndicates to loot public. He felt that government will earn good profits and people will get employment if government conducts liquor sales. Dr Narayana announced that the CPI was going to conduct state-wide agitations with like-minded parties and organisations on February 18 against belt shops. Mentioning various failures of the government like controlling spiralling prices of essential commodities, keeping law and order in control, poor protection to women and others, he alleged that the Congress-led union and state governments have shunned public welfare. Mentioning cases agai-nst YSR, Telugu Desam supremo Chandrababu Naidu and Kadapa MP Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, Dr Narayana supported Mr Naidu over his defensive actions in these cases. He clarified that CPI had differences with Mr Naidu over political mistakes and economical policies. He opined that Congress government had totally failed prove allegations levelled against Mr Naidu in various cases despite having power. Dr Narayana, accompanied by MLC P.J. Chandrasekhar Rao, CPI district secretary M. Venkaiah and others inaugurated the Mastanaiah memorial stoopam and a memorial library there. Dr Narayana inaugurated the district party meeting by flagging off a red rally.
