Plant saplings to protect earth,
students told

People were asked to protect
earth from pollution during World Earth Day meet here on Sunday. Volunteer
Environmental Organisation chairman, Mr G. Veerabhadrachari, asked students to
plant saplings and further bring awareness about protection of our environment
from pollution among their parents and common people. He asked people to shun
plastic and use ecofriendly bags. Veerabhadrachari and others asked people to
use bicycles as much as possible to curb vehicle pollution.
