TD to opt for US campaign style

The Telugu Desam is going to implement America’s Democratic Party election campaign system for a victory in the Ongole Assembly byelection.

Mr Naidu mentioned that Democratic Party activists had highlighted the errors of then US president George Bush by meeting every voter at least for ten times in the campaign during the presidential elections.
Mr Naidu claimed that this campaign had given a huge victory to Mr Barrack Obama, and that hence the TD was going to awaken Ongole voters by meeting them ten times, explaining “YSR Congress’s corruption and Congress failures”. He clarified that the TD had appointed an in charge for every 100-150 voters in Ongole and published booklets about the YSR Congress “corruption” and “Congress failures”. He directed TD activists to read these books carefully and explain those points to the people. He suggested that TD leaders make a good use of social networks like Facebook for campaigning for the TD candidate, Mr Damacharla Janardhan.
The TD had failed to convince people about their developmental activities and welfare schemes, he admitted, and this time they were going to go so repeatedly under the new campaign system. Lamenting that the people were not responding on the Jagan “corruption” issue, he directed party cadres to intensify the campaign among people about Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy's “illegalities”. TD leaders Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary, Karanam Balaramakri-shnamurthy, Pidatala Saik-alpana Reddy, Markapuram MLA Kandula Narayana Reddy, and MLC Siddha Raghav Rao addressed TD cadres.
