Two selected for civil services from Prakasam

Two persons from Prakasam
district got ranks in the recent civil services results. Gudimella
Venkatapurnanada Pavankumar of Vydana village under Ballikurva mandal got 247th
rank in the civil services. Pavankumar’s father Radhakrishnamurthy is working
as a priest in a local temple and mother Lakshmi was house wife. Pavankumar
said that wish to serve people through civil services had driven him to appear
civil services examinations.
Pavankumar had completed
intermediate with Bi. P. C. group at Chirala Sri Vidya junior college with 75
percent marks. He further studied B. Sc at SSN college
of Narasaraopeta and later completed
M. Sc at Guntur Hindu College.
He added that he worked as physics lecturer at RVRJC college
of Guntur and Hyderabad which helped him largely towards
gaining knowledge about various issues. Pavankumar got civil coaching at New Delhi and fulfilled his
civil dream finally.
Bandaru Ratnakishore of
Idupulapadu village
of Inkollu mandal got 773rd
rank in the civil services. Ratnakishore completed his basic studies in the
Zilla parishad high school, completed intermediate at Nagabhairava college and
later studied B. Tech at Vignan engineering college of Vadlamudi.
Parents Kripa Rao and Hena were working as school assistants in the ZP high
school. Teaching staff of the school congratulated Ratnakishore and asked
students to adopt Ratnakishore as their ideal towards achieving higher posts.
