YSRC stages protests in Prakasam

The YSR Congress staged a dharna before
district collectorate here on Wednesday protesting CBI actions against Sakshi
and YSRC president, Y. S. Jaganmohan Reddy. YSRC district president, Mr Nukasani
Balaji alleged that CBI turned Congress Bureau of Investigation and is under
instructions of AICC president, Ms Sonia Gandhi. He said that Congress was using
CBI to register false cases against Jagan to defame him. Mr Balaji, former zilla
parishad chairperson, Ms Katam Arunamma and other leaders demanded revocation of
Sakshi account seizures and warned to intensifying agitations. YSRC leaders
later submitted a memorandum to joint collector, Mr P. Lakshminarsimham. A huge
rally was taken out by YSRC activists in the town. Similar protests were staged
by YSRC at Markapuram, Darsi, Podili, Giddalur, Chirala, Kandukur, Kanigiri and
other areas of the district.
